Volunteers are needed on a rotating basis for the Preschool class that meets during Acts 2:42 and for the Nursery during worship time. If you would be willing to volunteer in these two very vital ministry areas, please contact Darla Spears or Pastor Anita.
A special thanks from the Orchard Children for your faithfulness and generosity in the "Change for a Change" collections to buy mosquito nets for families in Africa. The final total was $366.93 which will buy 36 nets. Your efforts will make a difference in the lives of others.

Pounds for Papa support group for those who would like to lose weight for God's glory meets each Sunday morning immediately following the morning worship service. It's not too late for you to join the effort for health for God's temple.
It is time for us to begin sign-up for 2010 cleaning of the church. If you or your family would be willing to clean the church for one month during the new year, please contact Pastor Anita or sign-up on Sunday.
The Ladies Prayer Group meets Wednesday at 9:15 a.m at The Orchard Ministry Center.

A Jawbone for Jesus
“…for I will give you a mouth and wisdom…”
~ Luke 2:15 ~
In the church bone yard, the jawbone represents the mouth of every disciple of Jesus. God desires to use our mouths as instruments of His grace and glory. What a privilege for mortal flesh to become jawbones for Jesus.
Jesus forecasted to His disciples that they would stand before courts and kings one day for the specific purpose of bearing witness to His name. He cautioned them against anxiety by promising them empowered mouths that could stand up against even the strongest adversaries. He would literally fill their mouths with what to say!
Are you a jawbone for Jesus? Is your mouth His instrument? Do you yearn for Him to be behind every word you speak? You may not have the opportunity to stand before courts or kings, but you can be a jawbone for Jesus in your daily life – declaring and sharing God’s truth, His love, His grace, and His supremacy through your mouth and your manners!
May our Lord fill our mouths with the spirit and language of heaven!
