The Orchard is a new Christian Church, launched April 6, 2014, dedicated to helping the people of the Emmett Valley discover and live out God's purpose for their life!
If you are new to the world of "church" or are just beginning to consider checking church out, we are most definitely the place for you to start. Jesus said, "My purpose is to give life in all its fullness," and that's what we want to help you to experience.
Our music is modern (guitar/bass/drums/keys). We read from a Bible that has been translated into today's English language, so you can understand it. We explain everything that we do, so you won't feel lost in any part of our worship service. You won't be pointed out, asked to say anything, or experience anything you would describe as "bizarre" or "crazy". We serve coffee, tea, fruit, juice, and pastries as a part of our gatherings every Sunday morning, so come early to enjoy those before the worship service starts, which is at 10:30.
If you are an experienced church-goer, here are a few things you might want to know: The Orchard is a part of the fellowship of independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. (http://www.christianchurchtoday.com) We are self-governed and led by a team of mature Christian leaders from within our own church family who all live right here in Emmett.
We are a grace-based, grace-drenched, grace-sharing congregation. (http://www.amazon.com/Relaxing-God...) We are also an unapologetically Purpose Driven Church (http://www.purposedriven.com).
Our Sunday morning services are at Carberry Elementary School, at 1950 E 12th St (Northwest corner of 12th & Sub Station) in Emmett.
Our mailing address is PO Box 415, Emmett ID 83617-0415.
Our Ministry Center (offices and meeting space) is at 1469 W 12th St. (2.5 miles west of Carberry, on the south side, next to Jack & Jill Preschool) If you have any questions, feel free to call (208-502-0149), email (email@example.com), or send us a Facebook message, and we will get back to you right away. We hope to see you in worship on Sunday morning!
